Samantha (Annasophia Robb) is a fun-loving girl who has her life turned upside down when she takes a trip to New York City. Based on the popular novels, the year is 1904, and finds Samantha pining for a reunion with her former maid, Nellie. The snow-strewn streets provide a pretty backdrop for Samantha's vacation, but she can't help feeling something is missing from her life. Then, among the chilly city air, comes a surprise for Samantha when she is suddenly and unexpectedly reunited with Nellie.
